Principle Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Unload Trucks. Organize, stock, and rotate of daily-received frozen product. 2. Maintain organized and clean freezer/walk-in area area. Keep track of all warehouse products 3. Baking of all baked good product for daily production pertaining to production order guides. 4. Continually check and insure all products for proper quality, presentation and freshness. 5. Tray up of all frozen bakery product for next day preparation and daily production. Mixing of all ingredients for next day production. 6. Do a PM bakeoff. 7. Comply with all applicable State of Kentucky Health and Safety Codes. 8. Maintain and continually clean and keep department organized. 9. Perform other duties, as assigned by Team Leader, supervisor or store leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, skills and abilities required: 1. Entry-level position. Baking experience preferred. 2. Ability to perform physical requirements of position. 3. Willingness to taste and evaluate all products offered in department. 4. Ability to prioritize tasks. 5. Ability to organize well 6. Ability to multi-task, work quickly and effectively 7. Ability to understand and effectively communicate Quality Goals to customers. 8. Ability to learn proper use of bailer (must be 18 years of age or older). 9. Ability to learn proper and safe usage of rack oven and Hobart Mixer. (Must be 18 years of age or older). 10. Ability to work well and communicate with others as a part of a team. 11. Understand the importance of all waste, spoilage and transfers to department. Working conditions: 1. Standing, unloading trucks, walking for extended periods of time up to 8 hours. 2. Bending and lifting not to exceed 50 pounds unassisted. 3. Repetitive use of arm and hand movement. 4. Subject to cold and hot temperatures on a daily basis. 5. Work 9 am-5:00 pm. Off dates on no truck dates. 6. Work in a high production bakery and share space.
