Warehouse Team Leader-Eden Valley

BI is an established, growing, and innovative business improvement company with a nationally recognized commitment to quality. We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader at our Eden Valley Warehouse Distribution facility.

As our Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, coaching and mentoring the completion of work for the department.

Key responsibilities will include:
·Establishing work schedule and assignments.
·Conferring with management and participate in employment-related issues for people within the department including but not limited to hiring decisions, yearly reviews, performance issues and employee complaints.
·Coordinating on the job training for employees within the department as needed.
·Monitoring and enforcing safety and housekeeping regulations within the department. Conferring with other managers, team leaders, and associates to coordinate operations and activities within and between departments.
·Monitoring work activities within the department to insure shipping requirements and efficiency are being met.
·Handling shipping, carrier, and customer care issues relating to shipping.
·Identifying quality improvement and cost savings opportunities and committing to continuous process improvement.

The preferred candidate must exhibit strong leadership skills including a personal sense of responsibility and accountability. College degree preferred, however not required or equivalent warehouse background specific distribution. Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal) are also required. Aggressive self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision. Must exhibit good time-management and prioritization skills. Great written and interpersonal communication skills.
