The Warehouse Operations employee is chiefly responsible for maintaining the timely and efficient flow of products and materials both inbound to the MSD warehouse and outbound to our customers. This will require an ongoing awareness of storage techniques and locations, space allocation, stock rotation on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) basis, proper and safe lifting and moving methods, order preparation and shipment, and the accurate completion of the appropriate paperwork. The warehouse employee will be working in conjunction with several other staff members, so teamwork, cooperation, and communication skills will be crucial in our fast paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS


Tasks which require the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines, The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as cartons and medical supplies. The work may require specific but common physical characteristics and abilities such as lifting up to 60 pounds, above-average agility, and dexterity valid driver license required to drive a motor vehicle on a highway in this state

Some of the tools that will be used are pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and fork lifts. Be able to lift parcels up to 60 lbs.

Safety is a crucial part of the job: the safety of the employee, as well as the products, fellow team members, and the site. Safe techniques should be employed in all aspects of the job and the work place.
