Automated Logistical Specialist

The Automated Logistical Specialist is a Wisconsin Army National Guard Soldier who supervises and performs management or stock record/warehouse functions pertaining to receipt, storage, distribution, and issue of supplies and equipment. This specialist utilizes automated computer systems to maintain the regional supply chain for the Wisconsin Army National Guard. He/she coordinates with local level Unit Supply Specialists to maintain an overall state of readiness for the Guard force. The work performed by the Automated Logistical Specialist is essential to ensuring that members of the Army National Guard are equipped to respond to any challenge put before them.

The Wisconsin Army National Guard is an elite group of warriors who dedicate a portion of their time to serving their nation. Guard members train part-time to be ready full-time, should their state or nation call them to serve.

Major Duties

Establishes and maintains stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports
Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-ins and dues-outs accounting
Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents
Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment
Maintains stock locator system and administers document control procedures
Processes requests and turn-in documents at direct support level through warehousing section
Performs prescribed load list and shop stock list duties in manual and automated supply applications
Prepares, annotates and distributes shipping documents
Operates material-handling equipment

REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED (If you do not have a diploma or GED, you may still apply - ask a recruiter about how the Army National Guard can help you earn your GED)
Between the ages of 17 and 39
Normal color vision
Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
Ability to lift very heavy objects
