Security Officer

Purpose:
Chicago Tribune a progressive leader in the newspaper and information industry, has outstanding career opportunities available for Security Officers. Our security officers are responsible for protecting the people and property of our Freedom Center Manufacturing and Distribution Center and Tribune Tower on Michigan Avenue.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to handle stressful situations including medical emergencies and verbal and physical confrontations in a professional manner. Also requires the ability to effectively communicate with the general public have previous commercial, industrial, or military security-related experience. A valid class "D" Illinois drivers license is required. Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays.
