Plant Manager

Diamond Roller, a leader in the manufacture and sale of rubber rollers for the printing industry, has an immediate opening in our manufacturing facility located in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal Plant Manager candidate will be responsible for maintaining Diamond’s high standards with regard to quality, on time delivery and customer service. We are looking for someone who recognizes the need for flexibility in a small manufacturing environment and has a genuine concern for the people they work for (customers) and with (fellow employees). REQUIREMENTS
POSITION SUMMARY:
·Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures
·Liaison and support person for customers, internal operations and field sales personnel
· Monitor customer orders from pick up through delivery.
·Ensure on time delivery of product to customer
· Control labor costs and purchases per budget requirements.
·Maintain equipment in good working order
·Supervision of 30 or less people including drivers, shop supervisors, customer service and production employees
·Purchasing
·Other related duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
·A minimum of five years experience working as a Plant Manager within the manufacturing industry.
·Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
·Solid verbal and written communication skills.
·Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook and Word on a personal computer
·Excellent organization skills.
·Must posses the ability to multi-task.
·Ability to work independently and as a team member.
·Stress resistant and self motivated.
·Must be a flexible team member and contributor.
