Forklift Drivers (1st and 2nd shifts)

We are currently looking for a Forklift Driver, to join our team in Hanover Park, IL.


Position Summary: The Forklift Driver is responsible for sorting, moving, and storing palletized products in the warehouse in a safe fashion as well as maintaining accurate location records. Essential duties: Receives palletized product from receiver and stages for storage in warehouse, sort product for shortest and direct route through warehouse. Receives location report with product labels. Applies labels to boxes and cartons. Operates crown standup reach forklift to locate pallets throughout the warehouse. Operates computer terminal to check and verify proper location identification of product. Prepares & records entries of all products placed in warehouse using RF gun. Follow established guidelines and communicate problems. Adheres to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions. Performs tasks in warehouse environment. Moves throughout warehouse areas. Pushes and pulls pallet mover. Moves and handles light, moderate, and heavy weight (5-75lbs). Bend and reaches to remove items for shelves and place onto material handling equipment. Manual dexterity required to operate standup reach forklift, controls computer terminal, handle boxes and cartons. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience: High School education or equivalent. 6 months – 1 year warehouse experience. Must have knowledge of receiving operations, warehousing and safety procedures with the ability to handle moderate to heavy lifting on a frequent basis. Possess ability to count and recognize numbers, and to read product labels/tags. Must be able to work overtime as required. Standup forklift experience is required, standup-crown preferred.
