Warehouse Manager - Sugar Land, Texas

Nalco Energy Services is seeking a Warehouse Manager for the Supply Chain & eCommerce group. The position will be located in Sugar Land, Texas.



The successful candidate will be responsible for department safety training and promoting safety in all plant personnel. Other responsibilities would include:

Reporting on various KPI metrics and other departmental measurements.

Ensure the completion of performance reviews on employees in the Warehouse and Shipping and Receiving functions, to ensure effective productivity and to promote continued development.

Ensure compliance with all government regulations and company policies in all shipping and receiving functions.

Develop and implement department procedures in material handling.

Address non-conformances from raw material suppliers.

Serve or chair various Quality Action Teams as required.

Maintain Material Control employee attendance records for payroll reporting.

Assist Logistics Manager in long-term planning and projects for the Material Control Department.

REQUIREMENTS


The successful candidate will have the following:

Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics or related field.

A minimum of five years previous supervisory experience in a plant or warehouse and shipping environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word.

Knowledge of SAP is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work well under pressure.
