Systems Transportation Analyst

Super user support of current TMS including troubleshooting and proactively resolving system- and user-encountered issues, developing training documentation and conduct training to divisional users, developing and maintaining process standard operating procedures

Functional team lead for process management (process changes and implementation) including identifying business requirements for operational support of business, mapping and documentation of process changes and improvements, effectively communicating business change requirements to IT support, continuous improvement (identify, recommend and implement operational process changes to more efficiently service our customer)

Freight claims management resolution and filing

Customer complaint facilitation and resolution

Review shipment data to determine accuracy and proper equipment requirements (TL, LTL, air-ride, pads, straps, decking, packaging, etc.)

Network planning and routing of customer goods via transportation management system

Determine best carrier to execute routing plan that will be cost effective; meet service standards and provide proper equipment for handling during transit

Create a routing plan that is cost-effective, meet service standards and utilize best mileage practice for linehaul transportation

Daily communication with customer call center, hubs, customer service, and coordinators on linehaul movements including deviations from the schedule

Effective communication with customer service, coordinators, hubs, accounting, billing and other departments to ensure overall shipment satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS
College degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation/distribution, operations management, business, or decision sciences strongly preferred

Advanced systems experience with current TMS product, preferably a GLOG product; SAP; MS Office

MIS, IS experience is beneficial

2-4 years experience working in a transportation, logistics, supply chain, operations, or distribution
