Accenture’s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.


The Training Team Lead is assigned the responsibility, accountibility and authority for the successful leadership, direction and management of the Government related training function and is responsible for coordination integration and skill development activities in conjunction with the rest of the San Antonio Delivery Center. The scope of this position includes Services workforce core training and professional development training as well as role and job readiness training for the Government positions in the Delivery Center. As such, it reports to the onsite Service Management Lead and is expected to be a long-term position in the Business Operations capability area of the center and is headcount that is deployed to the Goverment Operating Group.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Refine Integration and Skill Development strategy and appraoch
• Coordinate/communicate with the management team and other team leads to ensure training program initiatives are on schedule and within budget
• Managing the overall taining budget (including forecasting and the overall plan)
• Design, develop and track performance metrics for the training and communications teams
• Provide expertise to devise ways to enhance the delivery of training and related communications
• Plan, monitor and manage curriculum and other project budgets and investments
• Ensure that methods and tools are effectively integrated in curriculum development and knowledge management
• Maintain an informal and/or formal network of subject matter experts who can serve as faculty and/or experts for content development associated with learning and capability programs.
• Direct the development of accurate estimates for training activities as required
• Manage the resolution of training development and delivery risks and issues
• Perform detailed reviews of interim and final deliverables as appropriate
• Facilitate problem solving, innovation and decision making within the team
• Identify/ Monitor/ Report issues and metrics

REQUIREMENTS
• 4-5 years experience in training-related and project management roles.
• Undergraduate Degree in Business, Organization Development or Human Resources preferred
