We are presently looking for a first-rate candidate to join our award-winning team as a Regional Environmental Specialist in our Downingtown, PA location.

As a Regional Environmental Specialist you will assist with implementing the Company’s Environmental Control Program and assist in training field personnel on various environmental compliance programs and government regulations.

Essential functions include:

• Conduct environmental management reviews and inspections of company owned facilities

• Assist in providing training to managers and operating personnel on environmental issues, especially hazardous waste compliance, and waste management procedures

• Conduct environmental audits of affiliates and tank wash/waste disposal vendors

• Assist company and affiliate personnel on facility specific compliance issues, including oversight of environmental contractors

• Assist in preparing contingency and spill prevention plans required under RCRA, the Clean Water Act and other federal and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Basic background of environmental regulations

• Understanding of wastewater treatment

• Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science - preferred

• Knowledge of conducting compliance audits - preferred

• Good project management skills

• Able to perform up to 25% national travel
