Logistic Specialist - Bilingual Japanese

Distributor of automotive products seeks an experienced Logistic Specialist. In cooperation with the Senior Manager, establish and manage our new Automotive specific international supply chain and third-party local finishing suppliers.
Work closely with all levels of management in manufacturing, technical marketing and sales to ensure all automotive requirements by customer are met, striving for 100% on-time order delivery.(1) Coordinate ordering of material to facilitate internal/external production and sampling schedules.
Will be working closely with customers, technical marketing, sales, and manufacturing.
(2) Schedule, monitor, and release work orders for internal/external manufacturing facilities.
(3) Monitor and control inventory of all automotive materials – multiple styles, finishes, and colors. Familiar with in house and third party manufacturing processes and procedures.
(4) Release customer purchase orders in a timely manner to ensure on time delivery.
(5) Work closely with customers and manufactures to make sure all special requirements are met.
(6) Implement EDI system.
(7) Position will report to Senior Manager, Customer Service and Warehouse
(8) Occasional travel to Customer and Suppliers will be required.
REQUIREMENTS
(1) Must be bilingual in English and Japanese.
(2) Minimum three years experience in logistics area, in Automotive Supply/ Manufacturing chain management.
(3) Experience in EDI system.
(4) Excellent communication skills.
