Fire Alarm Technician

Cintas Fire Protection works to ensure that we service and install fire safety equipment to NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards. Cintas Fire Protection provides a complete fire protection solution for our customers by selling, servicing and installing: fire extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, alarm and sprinkler systems and clean agent, vehicle and industrial suppression systems. Cintas Fire Protection also performs emergency and exit lighting service, on-site training and instruction of fire extinguisher usage and 24-hour fire alarm system monitoring. Cintas Fire Protection is continually evaluating what else we can do to assist employers in creating a safer, more Code compliant work environment.



Cintas is currently seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician for our Fire Protection business. This position requires the ability to service, repair, sell and replace Fire Alarm products and inspect Fire Alarm systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. Job duties include, but are not limited to, servicing, inspecting, and testing alarm systems to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repairs of our customers fire alarm systems, identifying code and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports. Duties may also include the installation of fire alarm systems.
REQUIREMENTS


Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record (please note that successful candidates will be subject to a DMV check)

HS diploma/ GED

Fire licenses may be required based on state or local regulations

NICET licensing or other fire certifications preferred

Knowledge of computers preferred

Ability to be available on-call when scheduled
