Plan, coordinate, and deliver training and staff development programs by performing the following duties:
Confer with managers and conduct needs
analysis studies to determine business issues,
workflow issues and training needs.
Design training based on identified training needs or changes in products, procedures, or
services.
Deliver training programs including selection of appropriate instructional procedures or
methods.
Conduct various programs including new employees orientation, insurance licensing
preparation, service and sales techniques, and adaptations to changes in policies,
procedures, and technologies.
Research and select outside consultants and trainers to conduct specific training.
Coordinate government grant and outside vendors.
Compile data and analyze training requirements, as well as tests, records and prepare statistical reports to evaluate effectiveness of training and performance and progress of trainees.
Deliver reports to management on training and organizational development.Minimum education required:
College Degree in adult education, communication or related field required;Minimum work experience required:
2 years experience Training and Organization Development in a service or insurance environment.
2 years insurance experience requiredSpecial skills required:
Adult Learning and Course Design and full knowledge of MS Office.
Expertise is insurance.
