National Training Manager
The National Training Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Vehicle Inspection Training and Development function. This position will establish and implement our Training and Development strategy for the organization to ensure that client criteria for vehicle inspections are met, as well as assuring employees receive ongoing skills development and experiences.
Description
Manages the overall training for Vehicle Inspections
Manages a team of Field based training leaders
Design and deliver training solutions in support of business goals and objectives and assure linkage/support for corporate initiatives
Facilitate workshops and seminars
Lead/facilitate implementation of other solutions including development of training materials/ manual and handouts
Select and manage external training consultants for course development and delivery, when appropriate
Participate in the evaluation of training delivered and provide consultative services for creating and enhancing training programs
Continually drive the team to benchmark work processes and work with departments to make process improvements
Assure linkage/support for corporate initiatives
Distributing tasks strategically to facilitate an effective roll-out, and successful ongoing training activities
Formulates training policies, programs and schedules based on identified training needs, company processes/systems, or changes in policies, procedures, or services
Based upon needs, select appropriate training methods such as individual or group training, self study, simulation exercises, role plays or computer based training.
Measures and evaluates effectiveness of training programs.
Maintains records and analyzes and prepares reports to evaluate performance of facilitators and monitor progress of trainees
Makes recommendations for updates/changes as necessary

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
*5 – 7 years of Training or Organization Development experience
*3-5 years of leading and managing training teams of 2 or more
*A proven track record of developing and leading an Enterprise wide training function with little direction
*Highly experienced at developing and delivering training material to all employee levels
*Very strong organizational, communication, and public speaking skills
*Ability to design, develop, implement, maintain and measure the effectiveness of inspector training/employee development programs
*Ability to work in a complex multicultural environment
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
*Delivered success against specific metrics

*Proven track record in building and managing a successful training team
*Knowledge of and experience with multiple learning delivery channels
*Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience in a related field, strongly preferred
*Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access and Internet technologies
*Experience in training program evaluation and ROI Techniques
*Certifications in ROI, Training Management, HPI, Achieve Global and others preferred
*Automotive industry experience preferred
*Ability to travel 30-40%
*Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stoop, kneel, bend, and climb
*Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
