This position will serve as the regional lead for all training and development activities including, curriculum and content development, delivery and assessment of the Technical, Customer Service, and Sales and Leadership training initiatives. The primary responsibility of this role is to keep the daily operations of the function running smoothly while focusing on business results. Working closely with Divisional and Regional management teams, field management teams and HQ Comcast University, this individual will review programs and materials to ensure they meet business needs; track and monitor results; insure consistency and inter-connectedness of all concepts and materials across all programs; measure and assess effectiveness and look for ways to continually improve and enhance initiatives and programs.Tasks:Work with HR and field to ensure the successful design and delivery of all curriculum and alternative delivery methods for all aspects of Training (Customer Care, Technical, Sales, Leadership Development); monitor programs for effectiveness and consistency; ensure alignment with "best in class" practices; and ensure that organizational objectives are being met.Support regional L&D staff by conducting periodic team meetings; holding on-going one-on-one status sessions and developmental plan reviews with team members; providing coaching; and supporting business initiatives. Monitor the effectiveness of training efforts by conducting operations reviews including a formal evaluation processes for all key programs and projects; lead team in conducting ROI analysis for selected key programs and initiatives; and ensure that all goals and objectives are successfully met on time and to the satisfaction of key stakeholders and clients.Build relationships with divisional/regional management to identify business needs and opportunities for improving performance, identify performance metrics for improvement, address improvement through Learning & Development activities and communicate progress. Establish a monthly scorecard to track performance.Recommend, propose, negotiate approval, and implement policies, procedures, or programs. May have to adapt plans to accommodate different cultures, business practices, or customs.Participate in task forces, special projects, committees or team meetings. Perform other related duties.Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or Business/Education related field or equivalent in work experience required. Master's preferred.Experience: Minimum seven to ten years experience managing all aspects of a large multi-discipline training function. Experience leading high volume Technical, Customer Service and Sales training functions; curriculum design and assessment. Proven track record of implementing leadership development strategies and training programs.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Must posses the ability to build strong internal networks and relate well to stakeholders. Successful track record of transforming training to a learning organization by utilizing technology and adjunct training programs; strong history of evaluating training programs and evolving to new and breakthrough methods using data and analysis. Proven ability to apply current training trends and techniques as well as human performance improvement theories and practices.Excellent written, verbal, facilitation skills, as evidenced by the ability to influence and direct communication throughout all levels of the organization.Strong presentation and communications and delivery (presentation and group
