REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidates will have responsibility for the following:
-With the Site Management team identify suitable projects that will deliver tangible financial, customer, employee and business benefits
-Chair the continuous improvement site steering team meetings.
-Implement and drive Lean Continuous Improvement Programs across the site, ensuring it is aligned to both Site and Banta strategic plans.
-Establish relationships with the Continuous Improvement Director, Corporate Lean Personnel and other sites with respect to the global lean program and ensure the local plan is aligned.
-Implement and manage 5S program for all functions and areas within the site.
-Train, support, mentor and develop Lean practitioners, champions and masters.
-Implement and manage the Banta approved accreditation process.
-Identify Lean Master candidates and implement a training programme for their certification.
-Manage the continuous improvement program
-Ensure projects reviews are scheduled and all projects are on schedule to deliver committed improvements.
-Drive the Lean philosophy throughout the site
-Deliver training programs in Lean tools and techniques on-site
-Ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are adhered to
-Generate and report all lean metrics as required and report back to Continuous Improvement Director and Senior Management Teams.
