Senior Income Tax Analyst

Our company is growing their tax department and seeking a Senior level Income Tax Analyst to compliment their existing team of motivated tax professionals. The major focus of this position is accounting for income taxes under FAS 109 and IFRS, and related special projects. The work will require preparation of complex worksheets and analysis of special transactions.

Candidates must have a BA/BS in Accounting and 3 to 5 years corporate and partnership income tax experience. CPA strongly preferred. Masters in Taxation preferred. Previous exposure to FAS 109 is preferred.
Successful candidates must be able to research highly technical issues, possess a strong aptitude for detail, be able to work independently and in a team setting, and be a proactive self-starter. Candidates must also have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills (verbal and written), be proficient in Excel, and be flexible and able to multi-task in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Functional/Technical Skills

· Superior analytical / problem solving skills.

· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

· Proficiency in tax research tools and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

· Demonstrated project management skills.

· Experience with SAP or other ERP software preferred.

Experience


· Minimum 3 to 5 years progressively responsible income tax experience with exposure to FAS 109 Accounting for Income Taxes

· Corporate, partnership and LLC tax experience

Education/Training


· BA/BS Degree in Accounting

· Master’s Degree in Tax or graduate degree preferred

· CPA certification strongly preferred
