Training Coordinator

The Training Coordinator is the primary facilitator of classroom instruction at IRWIN University and a key participant in the development of training programs and curriculum.•Solid facilitator skills with an emphasis in adult education and technical proficiency in Microsoft suite of products.•An independent worker who can drive multiple projects to completion,
•The ability to maintain confidentiality while working with all levels of staff,
•Excellent communication, organization and planning skills,
•Creative thinker with solid computer skills,
•Ability to act in a consultative manner and partner with management.
•Conducts training programs covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, safe work practices, refresher training, regulatory mandated training, site-specific training, MSHA, forklift etc. Administers written and practical exams to evaluate trainees' comprehension.
•Maintains up-to-date record keeping of all employees training and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.•Provides monthly reports to management of training conducted and training compliance.
•Processes requests for verification of training certificates.
•Communicate with customers in person, via telephone and e-mail in a professional manner
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience with a concentration in Industrial Training and Development, Human Resources or related field. •3 to 5 years experience in instructional design, course development and stand-up facilitation, adult learning and evaluation methodologies.•Additional experience in a corporate human resource environment with a fundamental understanding of compliance concerns in a HR environment.
•Background in academia, including accreditation procedures and grant writing.•Some employee relations experience preferred.
•Biligual in Spanish a plus.EOE, AAP
