Weather Observer

3D Research Corporation has an immediate opening for a weather observer/upper air observer at Eglin AFB, Florida. This is a part-time position and requires weekend and shift work.
This position will define record and disseminate surface weather observations in support of DOD or FAA flight operations.
REQUIREMENTS
This positon requires:
A minimum of two years of manual observing experience. This is defined as the recording and dissemination of surface observations in support of DOD or FAA flight operations.
Knowledge and proficiency with various meteorological and communications equipment. ASOS augmentation does not meet this requirement.
A graduate of the DOD Weather Specialist Course or Weather Technician Course.
Proficiecy in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A minimum of two years of experience in the use and operation of either AWDS, AMIS, or NTFS.
Eligibility for a SECRET security clearance.
