Senior Chemist

Responsibilities: We currently have 2 Senior Chemist positions open to work for a thriving, stable company located in south Riverside County, with incredible benefits and a wonderful work environment! This position will be responsible for conducting research on chemical compounds. You will analyze and test organic and inorganic compounds to identify properties for development or improvement of new or existing products. Conduct research to develop or improve analytical techniques, methodology, and procedures. Develop and/or use new or existing analytical test methods to determine quantity, quality and purity of new compounds. Write reports as needed documenting findings and recommending process and/or test method improvements. Conduct exploratory research to gain knowledge for potential products. Investigate application of instruments in analysis. Ascertain relationships between molecular structure and physical properties to aid in analysis of new compounds. Supervise lab personnel to provide analytical support for routine testing for all raw materials according to analytical methods. Process, analyze and review analytical data. Perform instrument troubleshooting. Train laboratory personnel and new chemists in existing methods and instruments. Lead laboratory and production investigations. Independently conduct method development and validation, and equipment qualification under supervision.
