SENIOR GEOLOGIC TECHNICIAN Berry Petroleum Company has an immediate opening for a Senior Geologic Technician in its Bakersfield office. Qualified candidates will have direct experience .las file management and a working knowledge in Petrel, GeoFrame and GeoGraphix geologic programs. Duties include construction of new project areas with well information and log databases, proper editing of .las and directional survey files, project file management and retrieval/ printing of maps and cross-sections. Familiarity in resolving field survey issues a plus. Five years of applicable work history and a B.S. Degree in a technical discipline such as geology, geography or database management is required. Ability to work in a team environment, manage assignment deadlines and assume broad job responsibilities are key selection criteria. Berry offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
