Psychologist

The University of Central Florida is a metropolitan research university with an enrollment of 45,000. Established in 1963, undergraduate and graduate academic programs are delivered through 10 colleges. Located in Orlando, Florida, the University enjoys a rich heritage of cultural, educational, industrial, and recreational activities.

The university is currently seeking a Psychologist. This A&P position is located in our SDES-Counseling department.

Salary: Negotiable

Minimum Qualifications: A doctorate in psychology from an accredited college or university, which includes one year of supervised internship experience in professional psychology; or licensure as a psychologist by the State of Florida in accordance with Chapter 490, F.S.*

Preferences: Prefer candidate to have training, experience and interest in the assessment, treatment and referral of alcohol and other drug concerns and/or other addictions/compulsive behaviors (gambling, internet addiction, etc.) and training, experience and interest in time limited therapy models. College or university counseling center experience is preferred. Pre-doctoral internship accredited by the American Psychological Association is also preferred.

Special Conditions: Must be licensed as a Psychologist in Florida as specified by Ch. 490, Florida Statutes by two years from the date of hire.
