Product/Process Development Chemist

Purpose: A pharmaceutical/biotech company in the Sacramento area is looking for a qualified In Vivo study director.

The incumbent will be responsible for scientific oversight of in vivo research services projects (e.g. phenotyping, compound evaluation). Incumbent is also responsible for new assay and protocol development, project planning, data reporting, and all related customer interaction related to assigned projects.

Based on demand for new services presented by marketing and product management, the incumbent shall also be responsible to propose and implement new services by researching setup, training and operating costs and developing an implementation budget, timeline and schedule. The incumbent shall develop an overall publication and presentation strategy, in conjunction with marketing and product management.

The qualified candidate must possess a PhD in the biological sciences with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, OR a M.S. with 6 or more years of industry experience. Proven hands-on experience performing and running in vivo preclinical studies using rodent models is a must.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
