Natural Resources Biologist

Purpose: National engineering & design consulting firm specializing in the production and distribution of electrical power has a tremendous career opportunity for a Natural Resources Biologist for their Orange County office. Applicants must have minimum 5 years of professional experience and be proficient with CEQA/NEPA, Section 7 of the ESA and related environmental regulations. Also required: 3 years experience in a consulting firm, advanced technical writing skills, technical expertise in data collection and field studies, excellent communication skills and experience working with federal and state agencies. Broad background in environmental consulting; experience with mammals, reptiles, botany, and fisheries; and experience working on utility projects (such as gas pipelines, transmission lines, hydroelectric, generation plants) are desired. BS degree required, MS and/or professional certification preferred. Salary range will be $55,000 $70,000 per year and is negotiable based upon experience.
