Lab Technician

Purpose: A Market Leading Foods Company in Chicago is looking for a Part-time Lab Technician to work during the day for approximately 20-30 hours a week. This is a long-term need for someone who has an open schedule during the mornings/day and would like a professional opportunity to work these hours. Shifts would begin in the morning for three or four days a week and will last either half-days or full-days, depending on need.

On a Day-to-Day basis, candidates will be running pH, titrations, and viscosity on various food products. They will be working in an R&D environment, working very closely with a Sr. Scientist. There will be sample gathering, customer interaction, and various other responsibilities as needed.

Experience performing general chemistry in a lab environment is required. Food industry experience would be a big plus, however, a dependable, eager individual with proper training and motivation is needed.
