Food Scientist

Purpose: Food industry powerhouse that is approaching an aggressive growth year by investing heavily into their R&D group is in need of a Food Scientist to help support the growth the company is experiencing.

This position is for someone to be a food scientist/project manager to bring new products to the market. They will develop new food products in response to customer and internal requests. They will provide leadership for continuous improvement projects. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and manufacturing new products and improve existing products. they will be processing and manufacturing standards for new and existing products. Also, they will transfer new products from development to manufacturing.

Qualified candidates will need 3-5 years of industry experience in food science. Any experience with stabilizers, preservatives, shelf life studies, and nutritional analysis. Any experience with thermal processing, IQF, or prepared food project work would be a bonus.. Candidates need strong lab and instrumental skills .
