Chemist

Purpose: Our client, located in the East Bay, is a leading producer and distributor of specialty gases, is currently seeking a Chemist.

The Chemist will conduct chemical laboratory test, make qualitative analysis of various gaseous products (pure and mix), and work extensively with GC (FID or TCD detectors) and Moisture/Oxygen Analyzers.

This position requires a BS/BA degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering; a minimum of two years of experience with Gas Chromatography in an Quality Control laboratory and hands on experience with GC, FTIR and process instrumentation. The position will also require the ability to move heavy cylinders.
