CARDIAC CATH LAB XRAY TECH

The Radiological Technologist, Associate (RT-Assoc.) of the Cardiac Cath Lab will function independently as an x-ray technologist for all diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures performed within the Cath Labs. The RT-Assoc. will provide excellent service to the patients of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, the physicians, fellow employees and hospital staff. This position reports directly to the Departmental Supervisor.Job Requirements
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Certification, Registration or Licensure:
· Current ASRT and MRTBE licenses required
· Current BLS card
· Current ACLS (within 6 months of employment)

Minimum Education:
· Graduate from an accredited Radiological Technology Program is required

Minimum Experience/Skills:
· Minimum of 3 years current hands-on x-ray and scrub experience within an interventional Cardiac Cath Lab is required
· Management of medications administered at the table by the physician.
· Ability to set an example for the Radiological Technologist, Associate team members
· Previous experience with patient care modules or PC helpful
