Classification: FULL TIME Location: Irvine, CA Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Meet and/or exceed assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas. Maintain revenue and build new revenue within newly developed account base. Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet monthly quota requirements. Research, develop, and present well-structured sales proposals (formal / informal) to prospective customers. Complete service orders in a legible, accurate, and timely manner. Partner with the sales support teams to facilitate seamless and customer driven telecommunications solutions. Participate in weekly staff meetings, conference calls, customer support calls, and attend other meetings as necessary. Deliver Qwest’s Spirit of Service with each customer interaction to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and to earn our customers’ continued business and loyalty. Travel in and around customer region to existing and prospective customer locations. Articulate the purpose, key features, advantages, limitations, and value proposition of company telecommunications and/or technology products and services (i.e., Voice, Data, IP and Hosting). Identify and qualify prospective customers by telephone, cold call premise visits, and networking. Manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas. Profile accounts for multiple products and multiple decision-makers. Develop, maintain and manage customer relationships from the operational to executive levels throughout the organization. Develop and maintain customer accounts to compile and analyze data, determine customer position, identify strategic opportunities, set goals, establish responsibilities, allocate resources and set measurable account plan objectives. Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution. Partner with Sales, Service and Support personnel to strategically support accounts that bill $10,000 per month and above. Apply effective time management techniques and strategies to prioritize activities related directly to selling and minimize non-productive sales activities. Make accurate and timely decisions based on customer needs and business requirements. Gather and analyze relevant information / data from multiple sources to define the dimension of an opportunity or issue. Utilize PowerPoint to develop presentations focused on sales solutions responding to the specific buying needs of the client. Utilize Excel to create spreadsheets and manage data related to customer accounts and sales funnel management. Clearly and persuasively communicate ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a way that brings understanding to customers and team members; actively listens to ensure understanding. Negotiate contracts and evaluate details of formal presentations.
