Purpose: National environmental management company has a tremendous career opportunity for an Environmental Remediation Sales & Marketing Professional to service the surrounding Southern California area. We are looking to substantially grow our remediation practice and will offer the right candidate a base salary plus significant incentive for growing business. A secondary responsibility of this position will be to assist in environmental compliance sales as well.

The qualified candidate will ideally know the southern California environmental remediation market, their players and be able to ?open doors? for new opportunity. Additionally, the candidate should be a self-starter, motivated, comfortable learning new skills, confident with ?cold-calling?, capable of qualifying prospects, and possess an internal sense of responsibility and commitment to the team and ongoing company's growth. Excellent technology and organizational skills are required as well as a committed work ethic. The qualified candidate must have a ?can-do? attitude.

Duties will include:

*Gathering research on potential clients and companies
*Identifying key decision makers for sales calls
*Coordinating and scheduling sales appointments
*Proficiency with word, power point, adobe acrobat and excel
*Search public databases for RFP's
*Proposal writing
*Inside sales
