Essential Functions:
Reporting to the Director of Branch Operations, the Account Manager is responsible for all steps associated with sales process. Responsibilities include:
-Managing existing accounts
-Developing new business opportunities within existing accounts while increasing account knowledge and updating strategies for account development
-Providing customer service to current consultants and clients within the account and creating an intimate customer relationship
-Generating sales leads, cold calling prospective clients and establishing strategies to develop business and sales in new clients
-Understanding and supporting customer needs and hiring cycles
-Preparing and delivering effective proposals to customers
-Working in a team environment, providing feedback, and coaching the recruiter population

Educational & Experience Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree preferred
-Minimum of 2+ years of successful sales experience preferred
-Experience in staff augmentation or other service-oriented sales, especially within the IT industry preferred
-TEKsystems recruiting experience can replace the latter two preferences. The Account Manager position is frequently achievable through internal promotion opportunities from a Recruiter to an Account Manager position.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-A sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills, and a high standard of professionalism and character are musts
-A desire to learn and teach is needed
