job description Position Description:Major Responsibilities: Procuring new Public Sector business to business sales utilizing appointment setting skills (telemarketing, referrals and cold calling). Must be able to close business and attain voice and data unit quota within a 30-day sales cycle. Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced-constantly changing environment and effectively manage tasks so to accomplish the #1 goal… achieving monthly quota. Responsible for maintaining the expected level of activity necessary to achieve plan (make 75 to 100 outbound calls a day, conduct 8 to 10 new prospect appointments a week and participate in a networking environment). Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Candidate must have the ability to gather the customer’s buying needs, make recommendations through a proposal format and feel comfortable in any size forum to present the solution.
job requirements Minimum Qualifications: (Job related skills, experience, and education): 3+ years in business to business sales, high school diploma: BS/BA preferred; excellent computer skills. Public sector sales experience an advantage.
