Bilingual Sales Coordinator

Marathon Equipment Company, a leader in the waste and recycling equipment manufacturing industry, is seeking an energetic Inside Sales Representative to join our Customer Service Department in our Vernon, AL facility. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Nexgen™ and International Sales Managers, and the Director of Nexgen™ and International Sales. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follow up on sales and distribution inquiries, sales leads, quotations and bids, using the telephone, facsimile machine, and personal meetings. Requires initiating international calls, which, at times, will require unusual working hours to complete. • Will occasionally input orders into the Company computer system, and notify customers of product pricing, delivery dates, and general information regarding their order. • Provides sales documents to Regional Sales Managers and provides Credit/Warranty Department with the appropriate collections, repairs, and installation documents, as necessary. • Coordinate all administrative activities with customers, Regional Sales Managers, and Management to ensure department operates smoothly and efficiently. Includes arranging off-site meeting accommodations and locations, and assisting managers in preparation of meeting agendas. • The successful candidate will be required to accurately translate documents and conversations from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English. REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability to multi-task, and work independently. • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Knowledge of basic accounting principles. • Understanding of technical concepts and equipment. • Associates degree, or equivalent combination of educations and experience in Customer Service.
