macy's is looking for a bright, energetic and enthusiastic Visual Supervisor to lead our visual team at our Orland Square store.
This individual will execute timely, dramatic merchandise displays throughout the store creating a compelling shopping experience for the customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: create compelling merchandise displays throughout the sales floor and windows, within corporate directives, to generate sales and to attract the attention of prospective customers; position mannequins, platform, fixtures and merchandise according to prototype standards. Dress forms/mannequins for use in displays per corporate trend directives. Consult with Store Management and Regional Visual Manager to ascertain type of merchandise to be featured; place descriptive signs on walls, fixtures, merchandise or floor; insure adherence to prototype standards for each area of the store; develop layout and select theme, color and elements to be used in each display. Prepare plans of proposed displays when required. Partner with Regional Visual Manager on placement; work closely with Store Manager/Regional Visual Manager to create execution calendars; direct a team of trimmers; complete understanding of all aspects of total store and business tracking reports to aid in better business driving decision making; comply with store and company shortage procedures regarding fixturing, props and merchandise used in displays; partner with Store Management executing Special Events; and maintain visual workroom.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
