Job Description:
Walgreens is the nation’s leading drug store chain and the 9th largest retailer in America. Currently, Walgreens seeks an experienced individual to join our Asset Protection team in the Loss Prevention department.

The primary objective of this position is to protect Company profits that are commonly lost due to opportunities across our business processes. The Shrink Process Manager is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity, quantifying their impact on the business, and developing solutions to minimize loss.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage Shrink Process improvement projects from start to finish. This includes (1) Coordinating stakeholder groups across the company, prioritizing efforts based on cost-benefit, assessing risks, resolving issues and gaining executive sponsorship and budget approvals. (2) Ensuring the implementation of approved solutions, including all corresponding communication and training materials. (3) Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented solutions through scorecarding.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree; 3+ years of relevant work experience (retail or Walgreens experience a plus).
Project Management experience required
Loss Prevention, Finance, and/or Store Operations experience a plus
Excellent analytical skills to define business issues
Ability to quickly understand & comprehend new concepts and their potential impacts
Ability to interact with all levels within and outside the organization
Excellent interpersonal, communication & written skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Self-motivated with a curious mind and a drive to add value

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint required.
