In this exciting role, you will help reshape the current customer experience and brand image in the Cosmetics category with one of our premier retail partners.



We are building a team that will be instrumental in creating an enhanced consumer experience through in-store sales activity in the Cosmetics category. As a Cosmetics Sales Specialist you will be responsible for engaging, consulting and building customer relationships to achieve key sales goals in the cosmetics category.

The successful candidate for this position will perform the following job functions:



- Effectively sell cosmetics and accessories by engaging, matching, educating and presenting product features and benefits to customers



- Possess a high level of expertise in the cosmetics category and industry. In depth, multiple brand sales experience highly desired



- Possess a deep understanding of the cosmetic customer's needs, wants and desires and possess the ability to match the right products and accessories



- Build relationships with in store retail associates and management teams



- Work with retail management to ensure that product is available and well-merchandised



- Complete daily reports via handheld or on-line reports on time and accurately after every shift worked



- Part time hours - potential for extended hours during holiday and key promotional time periods



- Logo shirts and necessary hand-held provided
REQUIREMENTS






General Requirements:



- 3-5 years minimum direct consumer cosmetics consulting and selling and/or cosmetics retail sales experience



- Previous licensed cosmetology experience is highly desired but not a requirement (this position will not require any cosmetics application)



- Heavy category knowledge, desire and enthusiasm for cosmetics products



- Comfortable with face-to-face presentations and customer interaction



- Professional appearance, well spoken



- Able to feel comfortable working among a dedicated, hardworking, ordinary group of people who have teamed together to accomplish extraordinary things



- Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned store for shifts





Technical Requirements:



- Must have a PC computer with internet/email access and an available USB port



- Must have a analog telephone line (land line) connection - not cell phone or digital phone only





Physical Requirements:



The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to operate a computer using both hands; stand and /or walk for up to 8 hours in retail environment; sit; reach with hands and arms; read, talk and hear; count and perform basic mathematic functions; sort, organize, and assemble things according to written instructions; regular lifting up to 25 lbs. to move stock or displays to and from personal vehicle.
