Sales Associates Full Time and Part Time - Evenings and Weekends

We have employment opportunities available for full time and part time sales associates - evening and weekend evening shifts - to work in our shops at the Louisville International Airport.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
To handle all customers with the highest standards of FIRST CLASS Customer Service.
To obtain merchandise requested by the customer.
To answer customers questions regarding the location, price, and/or use of merchandise.
To process all sales transactions, voids and refunds promptly and within procedural guidelines.
To calculate sales discount to determine price.
To keep the selling area clean, neat and organized. Cleaning shelves, counters, mirrors, etc. as needed.
To stock shelves, counters or other sales fixtures with the appropriate merchandise and maintain company display standards
To check and ensure all merchandise is properly priced and taking corrective action when it is not.
Assist in the writing of daily want lists and preparing order sheets to keep shop shelves and fixtures filled.
Balance out the register and till bag.
Communicate best sellers and inventory needs to management staff.
Move from store to store based upon scheduling needs and to give breaks and lunches to other associates.
Prepare for and participate in all store inventories as scheduled.
Any other duties as assigned by the selling supervisor or management.



REQUIREMENTS
High school or equivalency.
Work flexible hours in a 7/365 day work environment.Must have the flexibility to work some weekends and evenings.
Ability to complete sales transactions which require basic mathematical proficiencies.
Ability to read and write English effectively, communicate in person and on the telephone, process transactions on a cash register, make proper change, vacuum, dust, clean shelves and merchandise, steam clothing, operate a pricing gun, change the cash register tape, change batteries in toys, etc.
Previous sales experience is preferred.
