Retail Merchandiser - Solid Co., Advancement Opportunities

National Distributor of books, movies, and music has immediate openings for Full-Time Retail Merchandisers who live in or near:*Macon, GAJOB DESCRIPTION: Retail Merchandiser is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent rapport with store managers and associates. He/she will be taking inventory, ordering (product is direct-shipped to the store), setting up displays, stocking, and completing all paperwork associated with their departments/products. On average, a Merchandiser works 45 hours +/- per week
BENEFITS/COMPENSATION: During training (6-8 weeks), you will be paid hourly + mileage reimbursement. When you get your own territory after training, you will be paid hourly plus benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and profit sharing.

REQUIREMENTS
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, be outgoing with friendly personalities, should project a professional demeanor and appearance, and possess strong organizational skills.
NOTE: This is a physical job. You need to be able to lift 50 pounds. You will be bending, stretching, and lifting while you move your product, and you will get dirty.
NOTE: We will conduct a criminal background check, motor vehicle report, reference checks, and a drug screen (hair test) as a pre-requisite to hiring.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. We prefer you have experience in Management, Merchandising, and/or Retail Sales.
