Retail Data Manager, Miami
Purpose:
Responsible for the consultative sale of wireless data products and services through the local COR and Indirect sales organizations. Position is responsible for increasing overall Feature Revenue, particularly MEdia and Data Feature Revenue - within assigned territory.
Support the DOS in the consumer channel to drive attachment rates, reduce churn, and grow overall feature/data revenues in his/her assigned territory.
Assist the sales leadership in COR and Dealer channels to ensure execution and maximization of all processes and programs targeted at data/feature products and services under the direction of the DOS.
Partner with the COR, SOHO, and Dealer sales management and Dealer principals in Director of Sales “chain of command” to drive closing and stick rate of sales of data products and feature services
Partner with Field Marketing to deploy data products and feature services to retail, SOHO, and Dealer store personnel for the identified DOS.
Assist Directors of Sales in evaluating data sales performance and partner with Field Marketing to develop initiatives to improve sales
Partner with the retail store management in the Director of Sales “chain of command” to provide daily problem identification and resolution support for consumer customers and SOHO accounts
Partner with the Dealer principals to ensure that they are effectively leveraging their compensation by maximizing data and feature sales and improving the stick rate in his/her assigned territory.
Provide direction and technical support guidance for data/feature products (Blackberry and RIM) and services (SMS & Media bundles) for consumer customers and SOHO accounts
Partner with Customer Care in supporting the resolution of problems for consumer customers who are experiencing problems with data products and feature services within the DOS area of responsibility
Partner with cross market peers and share/implement best practices for selling and supporting data products and feature services
Stay current and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of competitive data products, CPE, and feature services
Keep abreast of developing and leading edge wireless data products and features services and share that knowledge with the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
3 years sales experience
Technical understanding of data products, RIM, 3G, Media, TCP/IP and Routers.
Demonstrated success in technology, applications and solutions sales leadership
Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
