Retail AssistantTHE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is seeking qualified candidates who will assist customers in making purchases by answering questions, showing the merchandise to the customer, and completing the sale. Maintains the display of merchandise by keeping the display area clean, dusting and cleaning the merchandise, pricing and restocking merchandise. Closes out the cash drawer of the register at the end of the day, itemizing all receipts, and preparing the "bank" for the next day. Prepares for and counts merchandise for physical inventories and as requested by management. Performs all other assigned duties as assigned by management.
Warehouse AssistantTHE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is seeking qualified candidates who will assist in the shipping and receiving of merchandise that is sold in the museum shops such as pens, pencils, books, jewelry, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. Additional duties include uncrating boxes and separating items for re-shipment, checking packing list against orders, and logging shipments into inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
Retail AssistantA SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL possess good math skills and excellent customer contact skills. Prior sales clerk experience required.
