LEAD LOSS PREVENTION ASSOCIATE
We are currently seeking a Lead Loss Associate Prevention Associate to assist the Manager of Loss Prevention in the daily operation of the department, focusing on administrative responsibilities, training and supervision of staff and the protection of company assets. Responsibilities include the following:
Provide a safe environment for customers, employees and visitors through personnel participation, supervision and support. Assume the responsibilities of the Manager during times of his/her absence.
3 years’ LP retail experience, college degree preferred. Must have at least 1 year of supervisory/management experience in the retail security/loss prevention field. A working knowledge of federal, state and local criminal and civil law as it pertains to retail security is required. Must be proficient in fraud detection, investigation, rules of evidence and prosecution. Should have formal LP training in the legal aspects of conducting interviews, interrogations and obtaining confessions. Must have familiarity with the criminal justice system as it pertains to felony and misdemeanor prosecutions.
