Commercial Banking, Chase Equipment Leasing Sales/Origination Officer, Chicago



Chase Equipment Leasing seeks a motivated & experienced sales professional to develop, market, and execute equipment lease and finance transactions for JPMC commercial & corporate clients & prospects in Illinois by working in partnership to finance client's equipment in a tax effective, efficient and low cost way with the corresponding JPMC Relationship/Client Manager.



This opportunity involves building relationships and working closely with Relationship/Client Managers from all areas of the firm with an emphasis on Middle Market and Private Client Services.





Our Originator will work closely with Client/Relationship Managers by reviewing client & prospect lists and using their own market knowledge to: (i) identify clients/prospects with capital equipment financing needs and structure transactions that maximize their benefits , (ii) make a minimum of 12 face/face calls per month to uncover opportunities, (iii) cultivate and track their uncovered opportunities, (iv) provide proposals to clients/prospects that solve financial needs, (v) close new business for JPMC, (vi) take the time to learn about client needs in order to refer other non-equipment finance/lease business to the relationship/client manager and, (vii) by result will broaden and deepen CEL's penetration across the firm (i.e. Middle Market, PCS, Corporate Bank, IB and Private Bank).





The Originator will report to a Leasing Team Leader.















REQUIREMENTS







Qualifications Required:



Minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in a client facing role,

Bachelor's degree with post-graduate work a plus,

Extensive experience in accounting, finance, tax and asset specific issues, and involved on an ongoing basis in training sessions to improve and sharpen their knowledge & skills,

Strong marketing and interpersonal relationship skills,

Clear, concise and effective communicator in both written and oral forms,

Formal credit background (credit analyst, RM, underwriting, etc.),

Proven Relationship Manager/Account Officer capable of executing a wide variety of transactions,

Dynamic personality that can be flexible to work on a wide variety of clients & prospects in widely differing industries (High Net Worth individuals, public companies, private companies, big companies, small companies, etc.),

High level of dependability and intelligence,

Excellent reviews and referrals from your current manager and peers.
