The Assistant Store Manager Trainee position is a developmental position structured to prepare an individual for Assistant Store Manager responsibilities.

Upon completion of training, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for general operational and management duties, customer service, cash handling and inventory control functions of a location. Conducts regular competitive analysis, supervises efficient operation of the store, assists in overall customer service, sells products. Provides accurate cash and inventory control and trains new employees. Assistant Managers generally work nights and weekend days. Successful candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be self-motivated, able to work both autonomously and in a team leadership role. Must be able to work any shift necessary. Excellent communication skills, people skills, and attention to detail are essential. Must be able to respond quickly in an emergency and handle several tasks simultaneously, while keeping the customer a top priority.
