Administrative Assistant

To perform the day to day administrative tasks for our wine club office in Palm Springs, California. Come work in a casual and challenging atmosphere with learning opportunities in wine, computers, and exceptional customer service. - Provide outstanding customer service to all customers. - Communicate and work effectively as a team with the club coordinator and off-site staff. - Communicate effectively with club members over the phone. - Assist customers with purchases. - Assist customer with updating information. - Update club database on proprietary software. - Organize and maintain files. - Ability to effectively convey company and product information to customers. - Merge database lists with formated letters. - Assist in development of quarterly newsletter. - Manage inventory of packaging stock. - Effectively compose and send group emails through email server. - Work weekends, holidays, and all special events. - Other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years old, able to lift 45 lbs., be personable, have reliable transportation, and must be flexible to work some evenings and special events. Must have experience with computers and be able to demonstrate abilities in Word, Excel, and Internet skills. Retail or customer service experience required. Prior food and wine knowledge a plus.
