Overall Responsibilities


Manage Food Service / Dietary Functions for the communities food center and skilled nursing unit while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
Serve as a liaison between the communities consulting dietitian, the Food and Beverage Department, and Nursing Services.
Insure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulatory procedures regarding food service.


Job Qualifications

Satisfactory completion of a recognized Certified Dietary Manager Program.
Certification is current and in good standing.
Two years of Health Care Food Service experience.
Ability to supervise dietary/food service in a health care environment which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
Ability to effectively supervise a diverse employee work group.
Ability to effectively communicate with residence, families, supervisors, and employees.
