Executive Chef

The Executive Chef is responsible for delivering exceptional culinary and service to our guests by maintaining high quality standards in regard to food preparation and production. Responsible for food production for dining services for 450 meal plan students, one retail outlet and light catering. Reports to and assists the General Manager in managing hourly associates as well as meeting all operational/financial expectations and exceeding Parkhurst Gold and Hospitality Standards. Manages and conducts monthly safety meetings and in-services.
REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking professionals with 3-5 years of high-volume, quality-focused management experience in an Executive Sous Chef or Executive Chef position, preferably in a college setting involving board, retail and catering. The ideal candidate has a very outgoing personality and enjoys working in a campus environment. This person is also a great communicator with exceptional training, coaching, and team-building skills, as well as top-notch customer service skills. Associates’ degree or equivalent experience as well as standard computer knowledge (Microsoft, Excel, Word, e-mail, POS systems) are also required.
