In directing the orchestration of these events, this person will set the mood, create the ultimate "Hollywood" experience, oversee the details, lead the catering execution, and direct the administrative details.This position requires direct interfacing with the Special Events Sales Team, creating themed menus, catering decor, and the preparation of budgets for the sales team.The Director of Catering/Event Production will be enthusiastic and energetic, a team builder who motivates staff and creates a positive, invigorating work environment. Event management team currently consists of four managers, one coordinator, one back of house manager, and one staffing coordinator.~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
8 plus years of experience in food service, with 5 plus years in catering/special events operations and execution
experience in budgeting, payroll and P/L
PC literacy (MS Word, Excel)
Proven financial skills are a mustEligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to work at the station in Universal City
Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
Must be 18 years or older
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesDesired: Exceptional operations skills, excellent abilities in work-flow management, organization, logistics and follow-through
Demonstrated hands-on experience and team-building prowess as a leader
Thorough knowledge of food and wine
Prior experience in high-volume, off-premise catering
