Bulk Specialist

Performs all functions related to breaking down deliveries, moving back stock to floor, and merchandising new products and stocking shelves. Participates in regional program for purchasing and promotions of all bulk products. Assists Team Leader in organizing and developing promotional displays; maintains back stock, assists in training of entry-level grocery clerks. 1. Perform all duties and responsibilities of Grocery Clerk 2. 2. Orders all bulk products. 3. Responsible for helping to achieve and exceed margin and sales targets. 4. Request and ensure proper signs for all sale items. 5. Participates in regional promotional program. 6. Process invoices and returns. 7. Controls spoilage; achieve turns goals: and participates in monthly inventory. 8. Build displays and request appropriate signage. 9. Must strive to receive TCS scores of 9 or better. 10. Comply with all applicable State of California Health and Safety Codes. 11. Provide excellent customer service. 12. Perform other duties, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 1 year retail grocery experience, or equivalent. 2. Proficient in math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). Excel proficiency a plus 3. Excellent organizational skills. 4. Ability to perform physical requirements of position. 5. Proper use of baler (must be 18 years of age or older). 6. Ability to work well with others.
