Bakery Team Member

Performs in the juice bar and bakery department all of the following tasks: preparation; counter service; sanitation, and stocking of products. Maintains a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient Customer Service. Supports Team Leader in maintaining regional standards. 1. Provide excellent customer service, serve items, make drinks according to provided recipes 2. Stock, rotate products, stocks supplies and paper goods; keep all utensils stocked 3. Complete spoilage sheets daily as needed 4. Track spoilage and sampling 5. Assist in monthly inventory as needed 6. Answer or find answers to customer’s questions 7. Wash dishes; operate and clean equipment: slice breads 8. Maintain proper signage in case 9. Comply with HACCP Standards 10. Follow established Weights and Measures procedures (tares) 11. May Assist in training of new Team Members; utilize all training checklists and review thoroughly. 12. May Perform a supervisory role or have some buying responsibilities 13. Knowledge of bakery products with aptitude to gain extensive product knowledge 14. Comply with all applicable State of California Health and Safety Codes 15. Follow established Weights and Measures procedures (tares) 16. Perform other duties, as assigned. 17. Operate Cash register (if applicable); Handle money efficiently and accurately (if applicable)
REQUIREMENTS
1. Entry level position. Some Café experience preferred. 2. Ability to perform physical requirements of position. 3. Ability to learn proper use of Juicers, breed slicers, baler (must be 18 years of age or older) and all other equipment used during food preparation and clean up. 4. Ability to work well with others.
